Announcing the 2025 auditions for Hit and Run: Musical Improv®!

Hit and Run: Musical Improv is Colorado’s longest-running improv show, with hundreds of performances over the past 19 years, at theaters and festivals across the country. We perform completely improvised Broadway-style musicals, with live musical accompaniment, most Friday nights at 8:00 PM at RISE Comedy in downtown Denver. We rehearse the 2nd and 4th Sundays of every month at 6:00 PM, also at RISE.
Interested candidates should possess at least 1-2 years of improv experience (Harold, shortform, song structure, etc.), and demonstrate a solid vocal range and ability to harmonize.
We are looking for dedicated and committed performers with a long-term interest, with regular avail on Friday nights and Sunday evenings.
You will be asked to improvise complete scenes, songs and harmonies with live music direction provided. Come ready to sing and have fun!
No signups are needed! This is an open audition, and all participants should plan to stay for the entire 2-hour duration of the audition.
Dress to move! Comfortable, closed-toe shoes and pants/shorts are requested; no heels, sandals, skirts, or dresses. Please bring water and snacks if desired.
